MEAL PLANNING FOR EVERYONE

Meal planning is essential to overall health and wellness. When we are prepared, we make decisions to feed our body with the proper nutrients all day everyday. Instead of grabbing whatever is convenient such as chips and candy from the gas station when you are running around like crazy. Or simply grabbing a granola bar from the house which will burn off in no time and then you find yourself stopping for a mid day coffee that will be sure to make you crash as well.


On grocery day, you need to allocate at least 1.5 hours into your organization for the week. Here are some ideas to get you started plus a couple of recipes to try out for the whole family.


  1. Wash & pre-cut your veggies for stir-frys, snacks and salads (good for 4 days in fridge)

  2. Same goes for fruits like melons and strawberries (wash berries right away)

  3. Boil at least 5 eggs for on the go energy

  4. Put handfuls of nuts and seeds into a container to grab

  5. Precook 4-6 chicken breasts or roast an entire chicken

  6. Prepare and marinate meats for cooking over the next two days

If you do this...you will be prepped to ensure you have healthy snacks to grab at anytime of the day (even for your evening snacks!)
